			Remove the cargo area trim to gain access to the shock top mount nuts. Disconnect the electrical connector from the top of the shock. (Figures 1, 2)

			Raise the vehicle.

			Disable the air suspension system and deflate the applicable air spring per manufacturer’s instructions.

			Remove the lower shock bolt. (Figure 4)

			Remove the three top mount nuts. (Figure 5)

			Remove the shock from the vehicle. (Figure 6)

    	Tighten all nuts and bolts to manufacturer’s specifications during the assembly process.

			Install the new Arnott shock into the vehicle. Loosely thread on the top nuts to secure the shock in position. Do not remove the retaining wire until instructed to do so. (Figures 7, 8)

			Install the lower shock bolt. Do not fully tighten at this time. (Figure 9)

			The retaining wire may now be removed. Cut the wire and then remove each end of the wire from the shock. The retaining screw in the top mount will be removed. (Figures 10, 11, 12)

			Connect the electrical connector to the top of the shock. The connector is keyed, so observe correct orientation when inserting to prevent damage. (Figure 13)

			Using an appropriate jack, move the wheel hub into normal trim height. Tighten all hardware to manufacturer’s specifications.
