			Disable the air suspension system and deflate the applicable air spring per manufacturer’s instructions.

			Remove the plastic shock cap and wire dust boot from the OE shock. (Figure 6)

			Install the plastic cap onto the new Arnott shock. (Figure 7)

			Install the wire dust boot onto wire and seat into the top mount cap. Use caution to not damage the terminals. (Figures 8, 9)

			Install the new included wire dust boot onto the new shock wire. (Figure 10)

			Insert the terminals into the included terminal housing. The tabs on the terminals will be oriented to the inscribed numbers on the terminal housing. It may be necessary to use a pair of needle-nose pliers to gently pull terminals into place to fully engage the locking tabs. Once the terminals are installed, use a small flathead screwdriver to engage the purple lock inside the housing (press down in the orientation shown). (Figures 11, 12)

			Use an appropriate jack to raise the wheel hub to normal trim height. Tighten the lower shock bolt and manufacturer’s specifications.

			Connect the electrical connector at the top of the shock, secure the connector to the plastic top cap. (Figures 17, 18)
