			Disable the air suspension system and deflate the applicable air spring for the side being serviced according to manufacturer’s instructions.

			Remove the OEM top mount from the OEM shock. Discard the OEM nut. (Figure 8)

			Remove the dust cover and bump stop from the OEM top mount. Remove and discard the washer from the top mount. (Figure 9)

			Reassemble the top mount with the bump stop and dust cover. Do not reuse the OEM washer or top nut.

			Install the top mount to the new Arnott shock, using the new provided top nut. Do not reuse the OEM top nut or washer; this may cause damage to the shock or prevent the electrical connector from engaging correctly. (Figures 11, 12)

			Tighten the top nut to 27 Nm (20 FT-LB).

    	Tighten all nuts and bolts to manufacturer’s specifications during the installation process.

			Install the assembled Arnott shock into the vehicle. (Figure 13)

			Insert the lower mount bolt. Do not tighten at this time. (Figure 14)

			Install the upper mount nuts. Tighten to manufacturer’s specifications. (Figure 15)

			Using an appropriate jack or other means, raise the wheel hub to normal trim height. Tighten the lower mount bolt to manufacturer’s specifications. (Figure 16)
