			Remove the spare tire for access to the compressor housing (Figure 1). Disconnect the air tubes and electrical connector from the compressor to the vehicle. Remove the four (4) bolts holding the compressor housing onto the vehicle (bolts also hold the cover and housing together). (Figure 2)

			Remove the plate from the housing to expose the compressor. (Figures 3, 4)

			Remove the cable clamp from the housing. Disconnect the air line(s) and the electrical connector from the compressor. Remove the air line fitting from the air hose and discard. (Figures 5, 6)

		<warning>
			Prior to inserting the existing air line into the new air strut you will need to remove the old original equipment air line fitting and discard.
		</warning>

		<note>
			Scratches and/or deep cuts in the air line can result in possible leaks. Inspect the air line before insertion. Air line needs to be replaced if damaged. 
		</note>

			Remove the three mounting nuts and washers, and remove the compressor assembly from the housing. (Figure 7)

    <warning>
    	Tighten all nuts and bolts to the manufacturer’s specifications during the installation process.
    </warning>

    <warning>
    	Do not remove the air fitting from the air suspension compressor. Doing so may cause damage and/or void warranty. Remove the white shipping pin from the new air fitting and insert the air line until fully seated.
    </warning>

			Installation is in reverse order of removal. Follow the shipping pin removal and air line installation instructions (Figure 8).

			Inspect air springs for any type of cracks or excessive wear. Cracks in air springs are evident if they are leaking. This will cause the compressor to overheat from continuous operation.
