			Set the steering to straight ahead.

			Raise the vehicle.

			Remove protective shroud on the right side to access the compressor. (Figure 1)

			Remove the two (2) cable ties holding the connector wires. (Figure 2)

			Disconnect the three (3) electrical connectors to the compressor. (Figure 3)

			Disconnect the compressor vent hose by depressing the collar while pulling the hose. (Figure 4)
		</text>

			Disconnect the lines from the air valve block (black line (P) does not have to be disconnected). (Figures 5, 6)

			Your compressor may not have a brown line as shown in Figure 5. If the brown line is not present, just disconnect the other (5) lines indicated and proceed to the next step.
		</note>

		<note>
			If a brown line is present, please contact Arnott to exchange your P-3298 compressor for the newer model P-3304 compressor. P-3298 does not have a tire inflation port. P-3304 has the tire inflation port to support the brown line.

			Remove the three (3) mounting bolts that secure the compressor to the vehicle. (Figure 7)

			Disconnect the line from the compressor dryer by depressing the collar while pulling on the hose. (Identified as “P” on the air valve block) (Does not need to be disconnected at air valve block). (Figures 8, 9)

			Inspect air springs for any type of cracks or excessive wear. Cracks in air springs are evident if they are leaking. This will cause the compressor to overheat from continuous operation.
