ARNOTT AIR SUSPENSION COMPRESSOR
FOR LEXUS LS460 (XF40)
The air suspension system is under pressure (up to 10 bar, or 150 lbf/in). Verify pressure has been relieved and disconnect power to the air suspension system prior to disassembly. Do not allow dirt or grease to enter the system. Always wear standard hand, ear, and eye protection when servicing the air suspension system.

Not to be stored below 5°F (-15°C) or above 122°F (50°C).
Avoid damage to air lines and cables.
Removal and installation is only to be performed by fully qualified personnel.
Use car manufacturer’s diagnostic software.
Damage to the vehicle and air suspension system can be incurred if work is carried out in a manner other than specified
in the instructions or in a different sequence.
To avoid the possibility of short circuits while working with electric components consult your owner's manual on how to
disconnect your battery.
Consult your vehicle owner's manual, service manual, or car dealer for the correct jacking points on your vehicle and for
additional care, safety and maintenance instructions. Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath
the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur.
AIR SUSPENSION COMPRESSOR REMOVAL
1. Set steering to straight ahead.
3. Remove the right rear wheel and fender well. (FIGURE 1)
4. Remove the air intake assembly from the vehicle. (FIGURE 2)
5. Remove the electrical connector. (FIGURE 3)
6. Remove the air line from the dryer. (FIGURE 4)
7. Remove the air line from the compressor. (FIGURE 5)
THE EXHAUST MAY BE LOOSENED FROM THE RUBBER ISOLATORS TO ALLOW MORE FLEXIBILITY DURING REMOVAL.
8. Loosen and remove the three bolts from the compressor as illustrated below. (FIGURES 6, 7, 8)
9. Remove the compressor from the vehicle. (FIGURE 9)
AIR SUSPENSION COMPRESSOR DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove the three bolts from the compressor bracket. (FIGURE 10)
2. Remove the three rubber isolators from the bracket holes. (FIGURE 11)
3. Remove the three rubber isolators from the bracket holes. (FIGURE 12)
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bracket. (FIGURE 13)
AIR SUSPENSION COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY
1. Attach the bracket to the compressor using the three bolts and isolators. (FIGURES 14, 15)
AIR SUSPENSION COMPRESSOR INSTALLATION
Tighten all nuts and bolts to manufacturer's specifications during the installation process.
Do not remove the air fitting from the air suspension compressor. Doing so may cause damage or void warranty.
Remove the white shipping pin from the new air fitting and insert the air line until fully secure.
THE EXHAUST MAY BE LOOSENED FROM THE RUBBER ISOLATORS TO ALLOW FOR MORE FLEXIBILITY DURING INSTALLATION.
1. Install the compressor into the vehicle. Reinstall the three bolts and tighten to manufacturer's specifications. (FIGURES 16, 17)
2. Reinstall the electrical connector. (FIGURE 18)
3. Reconnect the air line to the dryer. (FIGURE 19)
4. Reconnect the air line to the compressor. (FIGURE 20)
5. Reinstall the air intake assembly. (FIGURE 21)
6. Reinstall the fender well.
9. Installation complete.
