The product shown in the installation steps below may look different than the part you are installing. The installation steps are the same (unless otherwise noted) and all notices and warnings should be adhered to in the same manner.

REAR SHOCK REMOVAL

1 Raise and support the vehicle.

2 Support the rear axle assembly with the proper jack stand. (Figure 1)

3 Disconnect the shocks wire harness from the vehicle. (Figure 2)

4 Remove the upper shock absorber bolt. (Figures 3, 4)

5 Remove the lower shock absorber nut and bolt. (Figures 5, 6)

6 Remove the shock from the vehicle.

7 Removal complete.

REAR SHOCK INSTALLATION

Tighten all nuts and bolts to manufacturer’s specifications during the installation process.

1 Install the new Arnott shock into the vehicle. (Figure 7)

2 Install the lower shock bolt and nut. (Figures 8, 9)

3 Install the upper shock bolt. (Figures 10, 11)

4 Connect the shocks wire harness to the vehicle. (Figure 12)

5 Remove supports and lower vehicle.

6 Installation complete.
