			Set the steering to straight ahead.

			Raise the vehicle.

			Disable the air suspension and deflate the applicable spring according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

			Remove the applicable front wheel. (Figure 1)

			Disconnect the electrical connector from the top of the strut. (Figure 2)

			Loosen and disconnect the air line (Figure 3). Discard the air line fitting (Figure 4).

		<headline_medium_left>AIR LINE FITTING REMOVAL</headline_medium_left>

	  <section>
		<warning>
			Prior to inserting the existing air line into the new air strut you will need to remove the old original equipment air line fitting and discard.
		</warning>
	  </section>

		<note>
			Scratches and/or deep cuts in the air line can result in possible leaks. Inspect the air line before insertion. Air line needs to be replaced if damaged. 
		</note>

			Remove the bolt connecting the upper control arm to the spindle. (Figures 6, 7)

			Remove the nut attaching the brake line bracket and the top of the sway bar link to the clevis (Figures 8, 9). Carefully move the brake line bracket to the side (Figure 10). Move the top of the sway bar link out of place and to the side (Figure 11).

    <warning>
    	Tighten all nuts and bolts to the manufacturer’s specification during the installation process.
    </warning>

    <warning>
    	Do not remove the air fitting from the air strut. Doing so may cause damage and/or void warranty. Remove the white shipping pin from the new air fitting and insert the air line until fully seated.
    </warning>
  </section>

  	<note>
  		Use an appropriate jack throughout the removal and installation process to support the axle. Adjust as needed.

			Position the strut into the vehicle with the bottom of the strut in the clevis. (Figure 18)
