ARNOTT NEW FRONT AIR STRUT
FOR 2015-2018 PORSCHE MACAN (95B)
The air suspension system is under pressure (up to 10 bar, or 150 lbf/in). Verify pressure has been relieved and disconnect power to the air suspension system prior to disassembly. Do not allow dirt or grease to enter the system. Always wear standard hand, ear, and eye protection when servicing the air suspension system.

Not to be stored below 5°F (-15°C) or above 122°F (50°C).
Avoid damage to air lines and cables.
Removal and installation is only to be performed by fully qualified personnel.
Use car manufacturer’s diagnostic software.
Damage to the vehicle and air suspension system can be incurred if work is carried out in a manner other than specified
in the instructions or in a different sequence.
To avoid the possibility of short circuits while working with electric components consult your owner's manual on how to
disconnect your battery.
Consult your vehicle owner's manual, service manual, or car dealer for the correct jacking points on your vehicle and for
additional care, safety and maintenance instructions. Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath
the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur.
1. Set steering to straight ahead.
3. Remove applicable front wheel. (FIGURE 1)
4. Disconnect electrical connector. (FIGURE 2)
5. Disconnect airline. (FIGURE 3)
6. Disconnect the upper control arms from the wheel carrier. (FIGURES 4, 5)
7. Remove the lower fork mount pinch bolt and sway bar end link bolt. (FIGURES 6, 7, 8, 9)
8. Remove the lower fork mounting bolt. (FIGURES 10, 11)
9. Disconnect and remove the lower fork mount from the strut. (FIGURE 12)
10. Loosen and move engine bay support bar for ease of access to top mount bolts. (FIGURES 13, 14, 15)
AVOID CONTACT WITH THE BATTERY TERMINAL CLOSEST TO THE TOP MOUNT BOLTS.
11. Remove the four (4) top mount bolts. (FIGURES 16, 17, 18, 19)
12. remove the strut assembly from vehicle. (FIGURE 20)
13. Remove the rubber isolator and four (4) nuts securing the top mount and control arms to the strut and separate. (FIGURES 21, 22, 23)
Tighten all nuts and bolts to manufacturer's specifications during the installation process.
1. Install the top mount and rubber isolator on to the new Arnott strut. Tighten to manufacturer’s specifications. (FIGURES 24, 25, 26)
2. Install the new strut assembly on the vehicle. (FIGURE 27)
3. Install the four (4) top mount bolts. Tighten to manufacturer’s specifications. (FIGURES 28, 29)
4. Reinstall the engine bay support bar. Tighten to manufacturer’s specifications. (FIGURES 30, 31)
5. Install the lower fork mount, pinch bolt, and sway bar end link bolt. Tighten to manufacturer’s specifications. (FIGURES 32, 33, 34)
6. Install the lower fork mount bolt. Tighten to manufacturer’s specifications. (FIGURE 35)
7. Connect the upper control arms to the wheel carrier and install the pinch bolt. Tighten to manufacturer’s specifications. (FIGURES 36, 37, 38)
8. Connect the electrical connection to the strut. (FIGURE 39)
9. Prepare air line by removing old VOSS fitting using the figures below as an example.
Prior to inserting the existing air line into the new air fitting you will need to remove the old original equipment air line fitting.
SCRATCHES AND/OR DEEP CUTS IN THE AIR LINE CAN RESULT IN POSSIBLE LEAKS. INSPECT THE AIR LINE BEFORE INSERTION. AIR LINE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED IF DAMAGED.
10. Insert air line into new VOSS fitting. Press air line in firmly until it is seated. (FIGURE 40)
11. Reinstall the applicable front wheel.
13. Installation complete.
