The air suspension system is under pressure (up to 10 bar, or 150 lbf/in). Verify pressure has been relieved and disconnect power to the air suspension system prior to disassembly. Do not allow dirt or grease to enter the system. Always wear standard hand, ear, and eye protection when servicing the air suspension system.

Not to be stored below 5°F (-15°C) or above 122°F (50°C).
Avoid damage to air lines and cables.
Removal and installation is only to be performed by fully qualified personnel.
Use car manufacturer’s diagnostic software.
Damage to the vehicle and air suspension system can be incurred if work is carried out in a manner other than specified
in the instructions or in a different sequence.
To avoid the possibility of short circuits while working with electric components consult your owner's manual on how to
disconnect your battery.
Consult your vehicle owner's manual, service manual, or car dealer for the correct jacking points on your vehicle and for
additional care, safety and maintenance instructions. Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath
the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur.
1. Set steering to straight ahead.
3. Remove applicable rear wheel.
4. Following the vehicle's factory service procedures, remove the back seats. (FIGURE 1)
5. Lift up the rear deck panel to expose the top cap. Loosen and remove the three top cap nuts. (FIGURE 2)
6. Remove the top cap. (FIGURE 3)
7. Rotate and remove the top cap sensor. (FIGURE 4)
8. Loosen and remove the three top mounting nuts from the shock. (FIGURES 5, 6)
9. Remove the air line. To do this, push the tabs inward and twist until the clip aligns with the holes in the fitting, allowing the air line to be removed. (FIGURES 7, 8, 9)
10. Loosen and remove the sway bar end link nut and separate. (FIGURES 10, 11)
11. Loosen and remove the bottom mount nut and bolt. (FIGURE 12)
12. Remove the shock from the vehicle. (FIGURE 13)
Tighten all nuts and bolts to manufacturer's specifications during the installation process.
1. Install the new air shock into the vehicle with the air fitting pointed towards the wheel. (FIGURE 14)
2. Reinstall the bottom mount nut and bolt and tighten to manufacturer's specifications. (FIGURE 15)
3. Reinstall the sway bar end link nut and tighten to manufacturer's specifications. (FIGURE 16)
4. Install the three top mounting nuts to the shock and tighten to manufacturer's specifications. (FIGURE 17)
5. Reinstall the top cap sensor. (FIGURE 18)
6. Reinstall the top cap. Install the top cap nuts and tighten to manufacturer's specifications. (FIGURE 19)
7. Reinstall the air line. To do this, push the tabs inward and twist until the clip aligns with the holes in the fitting, allowing the air line to be properly installed. (FIGURES 20, 21)
8. Set the rear deck panel back into place.
11. Reinstall the back seats, following the vehicle's factory service procedures.
12. Installation complete.
