AIR SPRING REMOVAL

1 Raise the vehicle.

2 Remove the applicable rear wheel.

3 Remove wheel well liner.

4 Use the scan tool to deflate the air spring into the reservoir.

5 Loosen and remove the air line. (Figures 1, 2)

6 Push in the locking tabs and push downward on the air spring to dislodge it from the vehicle. (Figures 3, 4)

7 Remove the air spring from the vehicle completely. (Figure 5)

8 Removal complete.

AIR SPRING INSTALLATION

Tighten all nuts and bolts to manufacturer’s specifications during the installation process.

1 Prepare the new Arnott air spring by removing the included nut and removing the shipping pin from the air fitting. (Figures 6, 7)

2 Install the new Arnott air spring into the vehicle. (Figure 8)

REMOVAL

Prior to inserting the existing air line into the new air strut you will need to remove the old original equipment air line fitting and discard.

Scratches and/or deep cuts in the air line can result in possible leaks. Inspect the air line before insertion. Air line needs to be replaced if damaged.

3 Insert the air line into the air fitting. (Figure 9)

4 Locate the hole in the upper spring seat towards the front of the vehicle. Install the included nut, tighten until snug. (Figure 10)

5 Using an appropriate jack, lift the lower axle until the spring seat contacts the lower spring mount. (Figure 11)

6 Using the scan tool, run a short-time inflation to seat the spring.

7 Remove the jack and run the full inflation routine. (Figure 12)

8 Check the system air mass volume and refill the system per manufacturer’s instructions.

9 Reinstall the wheel well liner.

10 Reinstall the wheel.

11 Installation complete.
